Teresa is involved as a volunteer in the local care centre and mainly takes care of sick children under the age of 5. She lives with her family under difficult conditions in a village community; on the side she takes care of the household and cultivates food.
Through Teresa's efforts, many children now receive help for cases of malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia. Still, she hopes for better medical care. Currently, she faces challenges such as food insecurity, feeding her children and the considerable distance to the nearest hospital, which is difficult to reach for severely ill patients.
